Three projects that Indevent have worked on
Caledonian Building Systems in Newark
Caledonian won a major contract to supply 1250 “single living accommodation modules”, (SLAM’s), for Sheffield University and invited tenders to supply the doors for the bathrooms.
Indevent managed to win the order for doors which were to be made from steel in both left and right hand and in 3 different sizes. The doors had a fully welded frame with the door leaf fitted so that the doors could be taken off the pallet and installed directly into the aperture.
At the height of production we were supplying 100 doors per week which we easily achieved without compromising on the demanding standards set by Caledonian.
Royal Mail in Manchester
The Royal Mail distribution depot in Manchester required a high level physical security solution for the vehicle entrance to the depot. A normal roller shutter was not adequate as the threat of ram raiding was very prevalent.
Indevent had the solution with the “GOLIATH” roller shutter door which allowed quick and easy access in normal operation, (as per a normal roller shutter), but when closed it provided a high level of security, especially against ram raiding, disc cutting and acetylene torch burning. The Royal Mail are so pleased with the “GOLIATH” that they have asked us to quote for other sites.
Due to the high security features of the door it can only be installed by our fitters and we also offer a full service contract.

Fort Dunlop Complex in Birmingham
The complex was serviced by a large car park which had to have a security access control including CCTV and road blockers which work hydraulically from underground.
Secure Options provided all the electronic security and Indevent manufactured and installed the road blockers which are raised at night therefore doing away with the need for unsightly barriers which can be the cause of accidents due to mis-timed exit or entry.
This is another example of the design and build qualities of Indevent and our commitment to innovate new products to give the best solution in any situation.
